VESSELS: CLUSTER

Sculpture

Density is a characteristic property of a substance. The density of a substance is the relationship between its mass and how much space it takes up. A measure that is also used to define populations.

Vessels are hollow containers used, especially, to hold liquids. Matter in this state is by definition amorphous. By not having a fixed shape, liquids flow, taking on the shape of their container. The qualities of container and content and the relationship between them is the object of study behind this project.

This installation is composed of a group of irregular polyhedrons exploring concepts of density and organisational structures.
